A touch of fur. That's all I need. Just a touch.
The high street has gone mad for fur this season. Faux fur is everywhere! Just take Topshop - when I was browsing through the Oxford Circus store, I must of come across about ten different fur items ... faux fur headbands, biker jackets, bags, snoods, beanies, not mentioning fur faux ankle socks (I am not joking - check them out here). It really is everywhere.
I am a big fan of the fur trend - I think it can add to an outfit in a number of ways - it is super feminine and sophisticated helping create that "Paris-chic" look we all strive for... IF used correctly. I think it is a major case of less is more.
In the piccies above I am wearing my aunt's vintage fur hat which I found hidden away in her attic. I have teamed the hat with my charcoal grey Zara polo neck, boots and skinny jeans. For me, it is key to keep colour to a minimum when wearing fur. That way it really stands out as a piece in its' own right.
